What is Bluekazoo?
Bluekazoo is the long suffering brainchild of me, the long suffering Mark Palmer. Mild mannered Usability and Accessibility consultant by day, freelance web designer (amongst other things) by night.
Bluekazoo has been around in some form or another since 2002, originally as Saltirecoast Web Design. The idea behind Bluekazoo is simple. Affordable web design for individuals and businesses of all sizes. Specialising in clean, simple web site designs for customers primarily in the Edinburgh and Lothians area (but occasionally further afield - this is the web after all), I produce sites which are accessible, usable and bloody nice to look at.
I firmly believe that the cost of web site design can be prohibitive and inconsistent and the end result can all too often be of poor quality in relation to the price paid. With Bluekazoo, I aim to change that and also to convince clients that not all web designers are money grabbing charlatans who’s main aim is to tie you into a long term maintenance contract.
