Bluekazoo launches Kitchen-Confidential

May 26th, 2007

I’ve just put live the new website for Leith based cookery instructor Jane Miller. Trading as ‘Kitchen Confidential’, Jane provides cookery tuition in the Edinburgh area.

The site is bold and colourful and the main colour scheme of the site was extracted from the image of the blue bowl of Chilis on the homepage. It gives the site a warm feel.

The site was built using handcoded XHTML and CSS with the Dreamweaver and Fireworks tools from Adobe. The site took on the whole 8 days to code, test and launch after the initial designs were agreed upon.

It was a pleasure to work with Jane and I wish here the best in her new venture. You never know, I may well be giving her a shout for some cookery lessons of my own albeit I like to think of myself as reasonably accomplished in the kitchen.

Jane was kind enough to provide some excellent feedback on the site.

“Mark, Thank you so much for my web site. I am very pleased with it and have had good feedback from friends who have visited the site. Best Wishes, Jane.”

The site’s web address is http://www.kitchen-confidential.co.uk (opens in a new window).
